Art house cinema – it takes me back. As a student I created a film entitled ‘Societies Rejects’ – it was a 7 hour continuous shot from the bottom of a rubbish bin as it filled up.
Unfortunately the first thing to be dropped in was a large cup of coke. It broke the record mechanism so most of the film was just black. Commercialism destroys art yet again.

Back to Blighty. I return to England with mixed emotions.
For one, there are still siblings to meet in other countries; interesting characters, that for now, may not feature in my documentary.
On the other hand, I’ll be able to nip into Waitrose for my favourite Potato salad.

I’m not sure whose side to take on this argument. Neither I suppose.
A documentary film maker should always remain objective.
Maybe the windmill will have a calming influence.

Cherry Ledojo, the man in the windmill and a late night dash to Holland – this is exciting.
Although I didn’t get any dinner and I don’t think those wiener’s and Pelvus sauce agree with me.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the sauce, a little to rich for my taste but Wim’s a charismatic man.
I’m definitely re-visiting the polo neck/ suit jacket combo when I get home.
